Travis first visited RHC with his family at the initial launch back in September of 2008 after receiving a postcard stating, "Real Truth for Real People".
On the back it read "Life is a journey, the only problem is that sometimes we lose or question our direction. River Hills Church invites you to come and explore God at your own pace. We welcome all to come and recapture the wonder of life and meet new friends along the way." To Travis and his family, this statement was a true representation of what it's like at RHC.
Travis believed in a God for most of his life and had accepted Jesus as his savior when he was a senior in high school, but he never really grew in his faith. This lead to many trips down roads that made Travis' relationship with God almost non-existent.
After Travis' first visit to RHC, he and his family knew that they had found a place where they could grow in their faith and make some new friends along the way.
Not long after his first visit, Travis began to play bass in the worship band. Travis recalls that, "Over the years we've had some awesome worship leaders and I've learned and grown spiritually with each one of them."
In the fall of 2012 Travis became the current worship leader.
